Blue Devils, drop 10-4 decision to Wilson Central

Lebanon Blue Devils jumped out to an early lead, but was unable to hold on and lost 10-4 to Wilson Central on Tuesday.

While Lebanon Blue Devils led until the sixth inning, Wilson Central worked its way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Smart.

Wilson Central was sparked by Hamilton and Franklin, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.

Tristan Warden was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out nine.

In the bottom of the first, Wilson Central grabbed the early lead, 2-0. Smart kicked things off for Wilson Central with a single. Franklin singled, bringing home Smith and Hamilton.

Wilson Central didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring seven runs in the sixth inning when it scored on an RBI double by Smith, a sacrifice fly by Trice, and four singles.
