The Lebanon High School Athletic Department is holding a contest to choose the Blue Devil Student-Athlete of the month for December. The Coaching staff were asked to nominate a team member that best exemplifies a Blue Devil Student-Athlete. There was emphasis on the player being an exemplary athlete, student, and teammate. The winner will be chosen by the number of votes cast on our website. The winning athlete will be recognized by the Athletic Director. Each month a new Blue Devil Student-Athlete will be chosen. The student-athletes are chosen from the current athletic season. We are currently in the Winter Athletic Season which will include the following sports: Boys Basketball (Freshman, JV, Varsity) Girls Basketball (Freshman, JV, Varsity), Girls Bowling, Boys Bowling, Dance, and Wrestling.
|Noah Mulaski- Varsity Basketball Noah has led the Blue Devils to a solid 4-1 start to the season in averaging 17 points, 3 Rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals a game thus far this year.|
|Ethan Njezic-JV Basketball- In our only JV game Ethan gave great effort on both ends of the floor. He has improved his shooting in the offseason and was able to score 14 points, and 6 of which were from outside.|
|Edmund Stewart- Freshman Boys Basketball–Edmund is averaging 14.5 points coming off the bench|
|Caleah Shannon- Varsity Girls Basketball- Senior Caleah Shannon’s consistent play around the rim has helped lead the Devilettes to a 4-1 start. She has really stepped to the forefront as a leader of our basketball team|
|Allissa Mulaski- JV Girls Basketball- Freshman Allissa Mulaski’s sharp shooting led the Devilettes to a blowout win in their lone JV game against Portland.|
|Aaryn Grace Lester- Freshman Girls Basketball- Freshman Aaryn Grace Lester energy and enthusiasm has helped the Devilettes to a 4-1 start. Her defense and aggressiveness offensively has improved her game tremendously|
|Lindsay Manning- Girls Bowling-Lindsay is a junior, and a multi-sport athlete. She is the captain of the girls team. She has been on the principals list every year; even while being an athlete representing Lebanon High School. Lindsay has also qualified for, and competed in, nationals for the past three years, and has already qualified for the national tournament held in 2017.|
|Hunter Fugate-Boys Bowling–Hunter is a junior, and has been on the bowling team since his freshman year. He has been on the principals list each year; maintaining above a 4.3 GPA during each year. Hunter qualified for, and competed in, nationals last year, and is currently competing in tournaments each month to qualify for next year’s national tournament.|
|Preston Parks-Wrestling- Preston had not Wrestled Since Middle School, but has quickly become one of our Leaders on the Team.|
|Maryanna Booker- Dance- Maryanna is a Sophomore and first-year, Dance Team member. She has been dedicated to bettering herself as well as her team by attending all scheduled practices and performances. She is a student-athlete who attempts what is asked of her the first time, while she continues to improve and stand out as a leading example of what it takes to be on a team.|
|Jenna Sims –Freshman Cheer- Jenna represents the freshman cheerleaders well by being a strong leader and athlete. She is always respectful and tries her best in every aspect of cheer!|
