Lebanon Baseball Loses Lead Early In Defeat
Lebanon Baseball watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 6-3 loss to Wilson Central on Wednesday. Wilson Central scored on a wild pitch , a single by Sullivan and a single by Ford in the second inning.
Lebanon Baseball took an early lead in the second inning. Chase Birdwell hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.
Wilson Central took the lead for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second
Tristan Warden uncorked a wild pitch, scoring one run, Sullivan singled off of Warden, driving in one run, and Ford singled off of Trevor Sanders, driving in two runs.
Lebanon Baseball had six hits in the game. Eli McDearman and Luke Bradshaw each collected multiple hits for Lebanon Baseball. Bradshaw and Birdwell each drove in one run to lead Lebanon Baseball.
Wilson Central collected seven hits. Ford and Sullivan each collected multiple hits for Wilson Central.
