Lebanon High’s baseball team held its annual awards banquet Thursday evening, May 25 at The Bridge Fellowship Church.

The awards reception / dinner was sponsored by the Lebanon All Sports Booster Club.

The meal was provided by Demos’ Restaurant, Lebanon.

Senior shortstop Nick Sanders came away with a handful of hardware, including Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association team MVP, All-District 9-AAA, TBCA Academic Award, Defensive Player of the Year and the True Blue Award.

Earlier Thursday Sanders signed scholarship papers with Lindsey Wilson College.

Junior outfielder Eli McDearman was named All-District and brought home the Attitude Award.

Freshman outfielder Luke Bradshaw was named All-District and was the Offensive Player of the Year.

Junior Felipe Juarez took home the Hustle Award; ninth grader Sam Lewis was Most Improved and freshman Chase Birdwell earned the Effort Award.

Lebanon ended the 2017 season 15-17 under the direction of third year coach Eric Vetetoe.
