Lebanon Blue Devils Varsity Fights Back In Loss To Shelbyville Central
Lebanon Blue Devils Varsity’s effort to come back from down five runs in the fifth inning came up just short, as they fell 6-4 to Shelbyville Central on Saturday. Lebanon Blue Devils Varsity scored three runs on a triple in the sixth inning.
Shelbyville Central fired up the offense in the second inning. Mckaney’s sac fly scored one run for Shelbyville Central.
In the bottom of the second inning, Lebanon Blue Devils Varsity tied things up at one. Mark McDearman drove in one when he singled.
Shelbyville Central pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Puckett doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run and Wilhelm singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
