Friendship Christian High School vs Lebanon High School
23 4

Yesterday, first time in almost a decade, the Blue Devils came face to face with the Commanders of Friendship Christian in an out of district – out of division – matchup. These guys know each other, they practice together, they bowl league together, they bowl tournaments together, and they are all like brothers on the lanes. The best of District 12 versus the best of Division 2 Middle. This was going to be great matchup, and both sides knew it. Opening game, the Commanders came out strong – taking 4 points and a huge pin lead. Second game started, and the Commanders never let up – throwing one of the highest sets this coach hasn’t seen in a long time – taking all the points from the Blue Devils and locking the win. Even though the match was officially over, the Blue Devils still bowled strong the third game, and put up some impressive scores. The Commanders took the win away from the Blue Devils — 4 – 23.

High Game Scores: Ryan Norvil (236), Caleb Gregory (212, 203, 218), Jackson McRae (211, 227, 186), Joshua Cantrell (212, 172), Braxton Crook (191), Will Weir (182)

Congratulations to Friendship Christian’s Cole Cottrell for throwing a perfect 300 during their match Wednesday, and then coming close again yesterday with nine in a row for a 279.

Congratulations Blue Devils and Lady Blue Devils for an undefeated regular season. District 12 Tournament begins December 1st, so with them luck as they strive for another state run.
